How to prepare for class
Whether you’re brand new to classes or you’ve been sewing for years, we want your experience at The Wobbly Bobbin to be smooth and enjoyable. Here’s what to expect and how to get ready before class begins.
What to bring
Bring your machine and a few basic supplies. If you are not fully familiar with your machine, bring along the manual too.
Basic sewing supplies
- scissors
- pins
- rotary cutter and rulers
- cutting mat
- seam ripper
- marking tools
Check the class listing to see if there are additional supplies needed.
Preparation
Some classes start with a little homework so we can jump right into the fun when you get here. You’ll see any prep instructions in the class description.
If you don’t have everything you need, drop by the shop a few days early to choose your fabric and notions. That way you’ll have plenty of time to get your materials ready.
The day of the class
Come at least fifteen minutes before class is scheduled to start so you can get set up.
